In these last days, the enemy is waging an intensified attack against the soldiers of the Cross.  He has aligned his cohorts in a targeted effort to destroy the testimony of every blood-bought saint, divide the holy union of every Christian marriage, derail the influence of every Christian home, and dilute the effectiveness of every local church. 

His weapons are seduction, deception, division, traumatization, accusation, and oppression. As an angel of light and the father of lies, Satan is seeking whom he may devour. Fear, passivity, compromise, and fatalism are always sure to give him the advantage.

But greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).  As soldiers of the Cross, we have been summoned to a spiritual battle against the principalities and powers of darkness in the bold advance of the truth. We are not victims of the enemy, condemned to be bullied by his dominating presence until Jesus comes. 

Our weapons are the Shield of Faith, the Word of God, and Prevailing Prayer. Our protection is the armor of Light. And our authority stands in the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of a Living Savior. 

God forbid that our lives and our homes become pawns and casualties of the enemy through ignorance, passivity, or willful surrender.

Now is the hour to rise from cowardice and defeat. Now is the hour to renew our devotion and to yield our spirit, soul, and body to loyal service to our Lord Jesus Christ. Now is the hour to put on the Armor of Light and to put off the works of darkness. Now is the hour to stand in the evil day with vigilance and resolve. We must not settle for anything less than the Cross has made provision for us to possess.

Spiritual warfare is not an option, it is our obligation. 

It is our prayer that God will use this weekend training course to help you to recognize the signs and causes of enemy oppression, to inspire you to rise up from spiritual passivity and fatalist unbelief, and to go forward in victorious conquest on the authority of the Cross.
