1-3 Day Counseling Intensives

Precious Stones specializes in providing biblical soul care for relationship conflicts, abuse recovery, sexual addictions, anger, fear, depression, grief, and trauma. We are committed to helping counselees identify and resolve root issues underlying presenting spiritual, physical, and emotional conflicts. Our typical counseling format is 1-3 day intensives with 3-6 hours of counseling each day based on the need.

Prerequisites

Because we are dedicated to supporting the ministry of the local church, we require all prospective counselees to first be a part of a local church. We believe that the local church plays a vital part in the spiritual growth of the believer. Without this God-ordained support structure in a counselee’s life, the impact of an intensive counseling session will be short-lived.

We also require a 15-30 minute phone appointment before scheduling a counseling intensive. This phone appointment gives the counselor an opportunity to assess the need and determine how our ministry can best be of help. Accommodations

​Those who have been approved for a counseling intensive are responsible to arrange their own accommodations and meals. We will be happy to recommend area hotels and restaurants upon request.

Financial Policy

As a faith based institution, Precious Stones is committed to providing its services without charge. It is our desire that finances never be the hindrance to people discovering lasting freedom in Christ. This ministry, however, does depend on the financial gifts of counselees, supporters, and local churches in order to continue providing biblical soul care to those in need. While we never require any kind of financial reimbursement for services rendered, we do encourage individuals and local churches to seriously consider financially sponsoring the counselees they refer to us.

Location

Precious Stones Ministries is dedicated to partnering with pastors to provide crisis counseling care for those in need. To best facilitate this local church partnership, it is most common for us to conduct the 1-3 day counseling intensive onsite at the host church that has requested/recommended our services.

Counselees are also welcome to travel to Indiana for intensive help. Counseling appointments are conducted at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville, Indiana.

Note: For onsite care, Precious Stones Ministries simply requests that travel and accommodation costs be covered. The counseling itself is provided at no charge, though donations are certainly welcome.
